DACA & HUMANITARIAN RELIEF

Two ways we protect
Dreamers and vulnerable individuals

DACA continues to face legal uncertainty — but renewals remain available and protecting your status requires acting early. Attorney Dylan Hackett also helps DACA recipients and other undocumented individuals explore pathways to more permanent immigration relief.
01
DACA Renewals & Applications
For current and eligible DACA recipients. Timely, accurate filing is critical — a lapse in status can affect your employment and expose you to enforcement.
02
Humanitarian Relief
For individuals who do not qualify for DACA or whose DACA has been terminated. Other forms of humanitarian protection may still be available.

Common Questions

Can I still renew my DACA in 2026?

Renewals remain available for current DACA recipients, though the program continues to face legal challenges. USCIS recommends filing 150 to 120 days before your current DACA expires. Do not wait — a lapse in status can affect your work authorization and create unnecessary risk. If you are in removal proceedings, learn about our deportation defense representation.

Can a DACA recipient get a green card?
It depends on your individual circumstances. Some DACA recipients may be eligible for a green card through a U.S. citizen spouse, employer sponsorship, or other family-based pathways. An immigration attorney must review your specific situation to identify any available options.
Can I travel outside the U.S. with DACA?
Not without Advance Parole. Traveling outside the U.S. while on DACA without first obtaining Advance Parole can result in the abandonment of your DACA and create serious bars to reentry. Always consult an attorney before making any travel plans. For current DACA policy and filing information, visit USCIS.gov
What happens to my DACA if the program is ended by the courts?
The future of DACA remains uncertain due to ongoing litigation. An attorney can help you understand your current status, plan for different legal scenarios, and explore any alternative immigration options available to you — such as family-based petitions or employment sponsorship.
